Okay as we all know when you research about Cambodia, there is a lot of bad reviews on the hotel or dirty and specially food. But even though me and my husband knows about this bad reviews it makes us more excited to visit Cambodia.
Phnom Penh Cambodia, Guide, Budget, Tuk Tuk, Tips, First Time Traveler, 172 St, 136 St,
Okay as I said this is our first time in Cambodia, I just wanna share with you guys our first time experience in Cambodia. We decided to stay in 136 Street Phnom Penh Cambodia we stay in Court Hotel. I really didn’t like the area and the Hotel where we stay in. Its very small room without window and also very tiny, no elevator only stairs very terrible. And the 136 Street if you don’t like insane crazy you wont like to stay in that street.
136 Street is the main girly bar and nightlife in Phnom Penh Cambodia so expect craziness in this Street. I research for our new Hotel to stay in and i find this wonderful Hotel with good reviews. The next Hotel where we stayed next is called Silver River Hotel its in 172 Street its about 4 Street from 136. This Hotel is awesome they have restaurant an elevator, and clean, they have deposit box. And the Street 172 is the best lay back street, and has a very good restaurant.
I will really recommend to everyone who is first time traveler in Phnom Penh to stay in 172 Street. Very good restaurant and very cheap meal, very cheap beer. You can actually eat for $2:50 and the beer cost $.50 every happy hour. And also stay in Silver River Hotel, its not really cheap the hotel. But you feel safe and its very clean the stuff is very friendly and they speak pretty good English.
We been to those Killing Field its very sad, tuk tuk driver took us there and also on Tuol Sleng Genocide Meseum. It cost us 15 dollars on the way there and also going back, its worth it because its very far it took us almost 5 hours trip. And by the way if you go everywhere in few street away from where you staying it only cost $3,$2 dont pay more than $3 if you are only going in few minutes from your place.
And from 172 Street to Phnom Penh International Airport its only cost $8,$9 dont pay more than that amount. And by the way I can’t give you any advise about nightlife fun with Cambodian woman cost we never experience it hehe. So guys this all I got for you. I hope that you will get some few tips from my post.
There alot of things to see in Cambodia, we just dont have much time to explore.
